About his action...
Chinese upset because of a man's action in America. The man entered coffee shop with his daughter carrying his bag and bought a coffee by himself. Even though he belong to high class , he didn't let his secretary. I don't think this action was wrong and no special. By buying a coffee himself he looks like humane and not authoritarian. And his action would has a good effect on his daughter. I think his action is good in all aspects.

i agree with your opinion. It is scene that common in the Korea. i know someone rich person who always use public transportation. he looks like humble.

When I read the news article, I also did not think it was anything special. Even in America, I have eaten in cafes where high-level government officials were eating. It still is a bit strange to me to think of the ambassador's actions as anything but normal. However, there are many different ways of doing things in the world.
